For the past 15 years, the HEAVENT AWARDS, co-organised by HEAVENT and NEWS ÉVÉNEMENT(S), have rewarded the most outstanding events of the past year. They represent a unique opportunity to give high visibility to the best event achievements held between 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2022, whether they are face-to-face, digital or hybrid.

SCHEDULE :

1/ Information on the application form(s) before 10 February 2023
(access to the form at the bottom of this page)

Online registration is open from 19 December 2022 to 10 February 2023. All companies, agencies, exhibition and congress organisers who have produced an event corresponding to one of the 9 categories mentioned below may apply. 

Attention : applications will only be validated on receipt of payment of the participation fee and on condition that the application is duly completed.

2/ Selection of finalists at the end of February 2023

For each category, the partner associations, Heavent, News Events and some members of the jury will select 3 to 7 finalists. 

The nominees will be informed by email.

3/ Presentation on 29 and 30 March 2023

The finalists -agency and advertiser- must defend their project together in front of the jury on 29 and 30 March in Cannes. The defenses will be followed by a deliberation session of the jury, which will vote to elect the winners (60%).

4/ HEAVENT AWARDS ceremony on 30 March 2023

It will take place in the big auditorium of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes in front of all the actors of the event market: Top buyers and participants of Heavent Meetings. They will participate in the election of the winners by voting for 40% of the overall score.

CATEGORIES

1 – BtoC Event Award

Public event, B to C road show, pop-up store, exhibition, street-marketing operation…

2 – BtoB Event Award

Event aimed at a professional audience: road-show, product launch, public relations operation, customer/prospect evening, press conference, open day, sales animation…

3 – Award for the internal communication event

Product launch, sales force meeting, internal party, study day, symposium…

4 – Award for the exceptional event

Large-scale event such as a commemoration, opening ceremony, summit, etc., bringing together a large number of participants and involving exceptional design, technical production and logistics .

5 – Sports, cultural, educational or entertainment event award 

Creation of an event, brand activation through sponsorship, exploitation of a partnership, exhibition, music festival, show…

6 – Brand experience and multi-channel award

An event operation that uses different communication media to promote a brand, a product or its values .

7 – Influence and media relations event award

Event targeting the general public and using the media and/or influencers as communication relays to increase awareness of a brand or product.

8 – Forum, summit, congress, trade show award

In B2B or B2C, an innovative device that changes the traditional formats of these types of events.

9 – Travel, incentive or team building award

Event designed to thank and/or motivate teams through a day or a group stay.

GRADING CRITERIA (common to each category)

  • Creativity / innovation: creative, original idea and technological innovation
  • Quality of execution: design, finishing, technical mastery, logistics…
  • Effectiveness: achievement of objectives (ROI, KPI, studies, media and/or business impact, etc.)
  • Quality of the oral presentation during the defence
  • CSR: consideration of environmental and social issues in the execution

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

By submitting an application, each candidate undertakes to sign the rules and to respect :

  • The deadline for sending the elements: file, questionnaire, videos, participation fees…)
  • The conformity of the elements requested
  • The schedule for the presentation: agencies AND advertisers agree to be available on 29 and 30 March 2023 for the presentation in Cannes (return to Paris on 31 March 2023)

REGISTRATION FEES

For Heavent Meetings 2023 exhibitors:

Free registration

For french applicants

850 euros (i.e. 1,020 euros including VAT) for the submission of a file
300 euros (i.e. 360 euros incl. VAT) per additional file.
For agencies members of Lévénement Asso who are not exhibiting at Heavent Meetings 2023, the registration fee is €500 excluding VAT (i.e. €600 including VAT).

Please note that we are pleased to offer round trip travel expenses (Paris/Nice) as well as two nights in a 5* hotel in Cannes (March 29 and 30, 2023) to the nominees on the advertiser’s side who will have been pre-selected by the jury and who will have to participate in the presentations in Cannes.

For international applications
